I just finished listening to episode two of HarperCollins’ new Prosecast. It’s a great example of what companies can be doing to enhance the experience they provide - and even better, it’s produced by someone in Canadian podcasting, not by some random idiots with no experience in the industry.
I hope I see more stuff like [...]

For the first time today, I am left upset by a blog that does not accept comments. Yes, it was his, though the decision didn’t bother me at the time.
When marketers look at success in a product or service, I wonder if they tell themselves “This restaurant has clearly succeeded because…” while finding reasons that [...]

#1 - One of my favourite podcasts, Digital Detroit Radio, has been nominated in the popularity contest we call the Podcast Awards in the mobile category. (???) As of 20 minutes from now, you can vote for him. You want to do this because:
a) he is the best kept secret of podcasting; and -
b) he [...]

I met so many podcasters at Podcasters Across Borders, it so wasn’t funny. Except it was funny - and thought provoking, and maybe even inspiring sometimes.
One of the podcasts I remember is Shane and Tom’s Squeezebox, because they reminded me of my accordion playing when I was a kid (of which, sorry, I don’t have [...]

It becomes harder and harder, I think, to be a blogger that gets ‘work’ from their site and to continue being active in blogging while obtaining this work. I don’t know why, but I’ve seen it happen a lot with a bunch of people I know. Personally I intend to combat it.
Whatever the case, it [...]

It just started raining like crazy here as I’m posting this. I’m going to go to sleep soon but enjoy!
Topics include but definitely are not reserved to: Having sex on a bicycle, living with college students, putting tables between people, etc. etc. I talked a lot.

Are you guys seriously not getting this new show? It appears to not be downloading by anyone, and one person has mentioned it. Anyone else? If so, try deleting it in your feed and adding it back… and leave a comment, puh-leeze.

There’s something fascinating about the concept around which the photo at right was designed. As you can see, it has a big ‘WANT’ above the line, and a smaller ‘need’ below it. Interesting, right?
At first glance, I really love this glass. It gives shape to a concept that people certainly need to think about: [...]

Vero B is one of this town’s hot new videobloggers. I went to the park with her last week, where we ended up taking a bunch of videos of each other doing a bunch of cool junk. She also grabbed a bunch of stills from them, one of which is the photo on the right. [...]

As of next week, the In Over Your Head podcast will be broadcast weekly on Sirius Satellite Radio - Fridays between 7:30 and 8 pm EST.
If you are a podcaster and you want some of this, send me promos! I’ll play absolutely any promo that doesn’t suck, so hook it up.

I think I just resolved an RSS feed problem, so you guys need to let me know if you get this.
If you subscribed to this blog before mid-June, you probably haven’t received any new information up until today. That was when I upgraded to Wordpress version 2.0 and, since then, a number of people coming [...]

If you like my DJ sets, you’ll love Stones Throw’s podcast. Stones Throw is the sick label that put out Madvillainy and Jay Dee’s final album, Donuts, so don’t sleep on their podcasts. They rock.
Episode #5 is by Roc C and J Rocc. Perfect listening while you’re working on something and need to get into [...]
