We are hiring a DBA at my company Corzen and
instead of looking at resumes/cvs we are looking at how people solve particular SQL
problems-not just the solution but the approach they take. (Do you use temp tables,
(nolock), CTEs, table alias, etc.)

can judge how you approach a SQL problem. There are no real wrong answers, but the

Code Camp III is now open! NJ
Code Camp III is just about a week away on Saturday November 18, 2006. Scott
Watermasyk has been compiling a great list of speakers and sessions via his blog. Scott
should be posting the session topics early next week. We have a great line up
featuring a track on Share Point 2007, open-source tools on .NET, and coverage of
the just released .NET 3.0 framework!

Tech*Ed here in Barcelona is progressing well. Richard and I did the TSQL session
yesterday for 500 people as well as recording a .NET
Rocks show on Agile Development with Roy
Osherove and Kate Gregory.
After we went drinking at the Norway party. What happens at TechED Europe is that
each country put on a party for their attendees. Since there is a TechEd in the USA
there is no party for Americans. So the Norwegians took pity on us speakers and invited
us. Thanks again!

the SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 2 Community Technology Preview November 2006. The
CTP release is scheduled for Tuesday, November 7th.
