| 1. | | Back in the saddle again - Captured: 13-1-2005 14:15:00 Whew! It's been a while hasn't it? My new son was born 9/30 and I returned to work late October after infant care leave. We're all hard at work here getting Whidbey Beta 2 ready to ship. The holiday's hit and I spent a bunch of time on the road and on airplanes. I'm back from vacation now and sitting in a rountable discussion with VSIP partners at the January VSIP Dev Lab here in Redmond. Good suggestions and a lot of hard work getting partner products ready to run... From: AllenD's WebLog |

| 2. | | Hanukah and Biking Weekend - Captured: 13-12-2004 22:55:56
Had a pretty busy weekend, Friday night was the our holiday party, which was pretty
decent once my headache went away and I could enjoy the band. The Dancing Heads room
was especially enjoyable. They use green screen technology to get a video of just
your head and then overlay it on to a video of headless dancers keyed to a the playing
of a popular song. The results are VERY amusing.
Saturday I woke up and joined a cascade cycle ride for what should have been a 40

| 6. | | Searching Through Video and Audio Content - Even With MSN - Captured: 29-1-2005 18:47:05
Video search engines have been getting quite the hype this week as Yahoo! and Google introduced
a video search engine to the public. But wait, only Google truely searches in video
content. Yahoo! only searches through images names and basic meta data. But if you
think they are pioneering anything at all, you are quite wrong. At least HP
has been providing the same service long before.

| 7. | | CES 2005 Video is Online - Captured: 20-1-2005 23:12:29

about his work, the kind of person who doesn't take himself too seriously in public
and who could answer to a humorous comment equally amusingly. I kind of missed that. If
something breaks on stage (And, thanks to Murphy, thats quite often) it's... From: Benjamin J. J. Voigt :: Creativity is Inspired by Activity |
