| 7. | | Now everybody do the propaganda! - Captured: 4-2-2005 14:49:31
The
February issue of The Reader’s Digest has an article entitled “
America
’s Worst Judges”.
It
begins, as many regressivist commentaries on a variety of subjects do, by asking you
to imagine that you’re the victim of a crime. Because
we all know how much that sort of imagery contributes to rational thought.
Then
it goes for the ... From: Anomalous Data |

I
never really got into the whole conspiracy theory thing. For
instance, I’ve never seen even a single full episode of The X-Files. For
one thing, I already had enough T.V. to watch, for another, David Duchovney (or however
you spell it) always seemed like kind of a dick. And
I found it annoying how every other woman on the planet seemed to think he was hot,
when I looked and looked, and just saw a scrawny, too-full-of... From: Anomalous Data |

| 10. | | Wot no posts? - Captured: 22-11-2004 15:20:00 It's been a while since I posted anything and since I have started getting mails asking if I am still alive I thought I would update y'all on what's been going on recently over here in Indigo land. We've had a very busy last few months as we begin the process of opening Indigo up to our early adopter partners and driving the product towards Beta1 (released in the 2nd quarter of 2005). We've run an SDR (Software Design Review) event where we invite a host of customers, ISV's, partn... From: Welcome to The Metaverse |

| 11. | | Looking Forward To A Long Weekend At Sigiriya - Captured: 3-2-2005 12:32:00 Friday 4th February 2005 is National Day here in Sri Lanka where the country celebrates its independance, in 1948, form the UK. As our factory, along with most of Sri Lanka businssses I believe, closes down I have decided (well my wife has actually - but I heartily concur) that we will take a long weekend and head off into the interior of Sri Lanka. I have managed to obtain one of the company pool cars for the duration and so the world is our lobster pot :)

| 12. | | Sunday 23rd January In Colombo - Bowling At Millenium Park - Captured: 23-1-2005 11:31:00 I spent this morning catching up on posts at vbCity. Managed to progress a few along without definitely solving any.
Then off to Millenium Park, which hosts Colombo's only 10 pin bowling alley. I managed scores of 112, 92 & 115, which considering I haven't played in a few months was reasonable - 150 is an exceptional score for me even when I'm in the zone ;-). Millenium Park is a pretty reasonable bowling alley and it cost us about 1400 rupees (£7.50) for my wife and myself to have 3 games ea... From: VB & .NET Blogs @ vbCity.com |

| 13. | | Launch a program using different logon credentials using VB and CreateProcessWithLogon - Captured: 27-1-2005 13:59:00 A friend of mine (who doesn't have a blog) that works in a SysAdmin role needed to see an example of using CreateProcessWithLogin using VB. He chanced upon an example showing how to do this using C#. Since he's not versed in multiple languages, it was a bit hard to digest. He sent me the link to the source and I've converted it to VB. I figured I'd share it [1] with anyone else who is interested.
