| 3. | | Brewing the Best Coffee - Captured: 9-2-2005 19:04:04 I'm not the worst that I know, but I'm definitely a Coffee Geek (but not the Coffee Geek).
I buy my coffee green, roast it myself, and am very particular about how it is brewed. That said, I'm not a total snob, I will drink coffee from Starbucks, some restaurants, some cafes, etc. It just takes special circumstances, since the stuff I make myself is generally leaps ahead of any of the above.
I started a 'coffee club' at work, and besides supplying the beans and the brewed I o... From: myShoggoth |

Had a pretty busy weekend, Friday night was the our holiday party, which was pretty
decent once my headache went away and I could enjoy the band. The Dancing Heads room
was especially enjoyable. They use green screen technology to get a video of just
your head and then overlay it on to a video of headless dancers keyed to a the playing
of a popular song. The results are VERY amusing.
Saturday I woke up and joined a cascade cycle ride for what should have been a 40

| 5. | | Marketing Eye for the Dev Guy - Captured: 25-1-2005 18:13:00 Ok, I'm taking a break from blogging about Gotdotnet today to talk about the idea for a new cable show that sprang upon me like a panther on a protein jag. It was inspired by Microsoft.com's very own snazzy lead product manager, Dave Morehouse (Microsoft.com communities team). I have to tell you that Dave is a man of substance, suave haircuts, and snazzy shirts, but it's his documentation that always makes me feel unkempt and well, like my specs just don't wash behind their ears. OK
everyone, it’s rant time again. This
one goes out to all the drama queens out there…OK wait, that’s not right. You
Drama Queens don’t know who you are, because you have your head so completely
wrapped up in your “me-verse” that you have no clue that what I’m
talking about applies to you. Never Mind…go
about your business.

| 22. | | BizTalk 2004 Pipeline Components are easy!!!! (Part I) - Captured: 21-11-2004 1:59:00 BizTalk 2004 Pipeline Components are easy!!!! (Part I)
The BT2004 pipeline component development at first glance seems difficult. The samples in the SDK should be augmented with a simple sample. Such a sample allows engineers with a quick understanding of the concepts.
I offer the following as a quick easy sample.
First download and install the Pipeline Wizard. Don’t bother to develop a pipeline component with out this wizard. It is a waste of your time!!!! A big... From: Magenic Technologies Developer Blog |

I'm plan on reading these over the next couple of days, and will post my own comments on them at that time. It definitely looks like a good read so far! From: Magenic Technologies Developer Blog |

| 24. | | Wot no posts? - Captured: 22-11-2004 15:20:00 It's been a while since I posted anything and since I have started getting mails asking if I am still alive I thought I would update y'all on what's been going on recently over here in Indigo land. We've had a very busy last few months as we begin the process of opening Indigo up to our early adopter partners and driving the product towards Beta1 (released in the 2nd quarter of 2005). We've run an SDR (Software Design Review) event where we invite a host of customers, ISV's, partn... From: Welcome to The Metaverse |

| 25. | | More.7710.Adventures - Captured: 9-2-2005 19:13:44 Have been testing out most of the 7710 features nowadays. There are quite a number of short-cuts available to speed up the navigation. Grouping contacts is easier with the dual-list box interface. The contacts can also be filtered by the groups instead of listing everything. Like the old phones, we can customize the ringtones we want for the groups.
I still find the audio features of this phone fascinating. I can listen to music (MP3 or radio) while working with it. The ... From: Firedancer.Unleashed! |
