So I haven't been able to get online for a couple of days, but frankly, I'm not minding all that much. We're in Bermuda where tomorrow I'll be doing some blogvangelism at the Whitney Institute Middle School in Smith's Parish. God save the Queen. Whitney's principal Freddie Evans is doing great things with integrating technology at his school, and his teachers are really enthusiastic about what they can do with it. I'm looking forward to showing them the ways in which blogs and wikis and the rest can help them make some global learning opporunities from this very small little dot in the Atlantic. (Bermuda is only 21 square miles...)
This is a beautiful place, even in the midst of "winter", and we were lucky enough to get a warm (75 degrees) sunny day yesterday that made us forget the 16" of snow last weekend at home. I've thrown a few pics up on my Flickr site now that I have another 10 MB to play with. I actually spent a little time looking at Bermuda tagged pictures before I left, and it gave me some good ideas of what to check out. Hmmm...Flickr as travel guide. Neat idea.
